The food was pretty good and the service was amazing. The waiters were very attentive and very knowledgeable about everything on the menu. Their attitudes were very sweet and patient. And the ambience of the place was somewhat romantic with the candles on the tables the lights being dim.

Juban's not only has great Cajun & Creole cuisine, but great service as well. I had Softshell Crab Diablo, and my date had King Salmon. It was all great.

I thoroughly enjoyed myself at Jubans. We were there for my granddaughters sixteenth birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered came to our table hot and beautiful, almost picturesque. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy, yet fun, and clean. The service from the staff was impeccable. Our waiter and waitress constantly checked on our table frequently. I definitely recommend Jubans for a formal sit down dinner, or a drink at the bar with friends. Either way, the staff is sure to show you a great time.

My family and I went for Brunch Saturday. It was my daughter's birthday celebration. Santa came visit our table which was a nice surprise. He sang Happy Birthday to her. I finally tried the Boudin dip and the blue crab lollipops. The boudin dip was a little spicy. But both were delicious. I ordered a martini which was very good. I love a good lemon martini. I had the Redfish Adrain with lump crab meat over grits. It was ok. My daughter ordered the lobster two way but our waiter came back and was sorry to say it's only for dinner so she ordered the Hallelujah Crab which we all had before and is still my favorite there. The stuffing is delicious. We loved the jazz band playing. Our waiter brought her a box of 2 chocolates for her birthday. Also there is a Photo Booth in the back by the restrooms. It's $5.00 for 2. Which was nice to go do after brunch.

The ambiance is great. Service is a bit slow. I can see why everyone raves about the hallelujah crab. Duck was also incredible. Love the festive decor for the holidays.

Juban's has great food, excellent service and a nice ambiance. We had a group of 12 and a private room for a work dinner. Our server was amazing. He was friendly, listened well, made good suggestions, and provided wonderful service. The food was excellent as well. We had several appetizers, main dishes and desserts. I ordered the Hallelujah Crab. It is a fried soft-shell crab, seafood stuffing, Creolaise, tartar mashed potatoes - served with hands raised. It was really good. I highly recommend Juban's. If we return to the area, we will definitely eat here again.

We very much enjoyed our dining experience at Jubans - Appetizers: Bread Service: A- (different flavored butters are a nice touch) Blue Crab Lollipop: A+ (very flavorful) Entrées: Ora King Salmon: B (good but not special) Pork Ribeye: A- (the creole cane syrup and sweet potato hash greatly enhance this dish) Sides: French Fries: A (excellent fries) Tartar Mash: A (great flavor) Sauteed Spinach: C- (flat) Dessert & Mocktail: Sparkling Rosemary Peach: A- (refreshing) Profiterole Trio: D - (totally disappointing; way too hard) Other: Ambiance: A (lush courtyard, interesting art, nice upscale feel) Service: A (very attentive) We spent $152.81 for a family of three, before tipping (no alcohol, only water, 2 entrées, 1 appetizer plus bread service, 3 sides, 1 mocktail, and 1 dessert) We had a great time!

Cheers to my second time coming to Juban's for the Jazz Brunch! This is definitely a hot spot for brunch on Sunday, so be sure to get a reservation. It's really a special atmosphere with the Second Line band and it has the feeling of being an elevated New Orleans cafe in the French quarter. This is why I brought my mom here for her birthday. So, the second experience was great, but the front desk was completely unorganized. We checked into our reservation, but we were seated much after several other parties arrived. We had to remind the hostess several times that we were waiting. Once we were seated, we our waitress was over to take our order. We ordeed the Second Line cocktail which was strawberry puree, tequila, & champagne. It was okay, I wouldn't necessarily order it again. For our appetizer, we tried the blue crab lollipops. It's basically a stuffed and fried blue crab claw with corn Maque! 10 out of 10! I could eat those all day! For our entrees, we ordered the Hallelujah Softshell crab, the BBQ shrimp & grits, and the Breakfast burger. The food was good overall, but the portions on the Shrimp and grits was really small! The Hallelujah was stuffed with so much seafood and I would recommend it! Other than the front lobby/hostess situation, the overall experience was great! I just wish they would have done something nice for my mom's birthday. Like last time they brought out complimentary cotton candy. That would have been nice.

Juban's is one of my favorites in Baton Rouge. Went here for brunch with a friend. The crab cakes had to be the best I ever had! We tried the breakfast burger, that was really good too! Service is always great!! And the ambiance was amazing. They had a live band and it was giving all the brunch vibes needed! Saturday/Sunday brunch..10/10 would recommend!
